By creating an account or using GV Ride services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. GV Ride reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform indicates your acceptance of any changes.

2. User Eligibility

To use GV Ride:

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must provide accurate and verifiable personal information
• For drivers, you must be a Malaysian citizen or PR, aged 21–69, with a valid full driving license and PSV license

3. Account Registration

• Users and drivers must register using accurate personal details
• GV Ride may require ID and selfie verification
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure

4. Booking & Ride Policies

• Bookings are subject to driver availability and may be canceled if drivers are unable to fulfill the request
• Users are expected to be punctual and courteous
• No-shows or repeated last-minute cancellations may result in account suspension

5. Wallet & Payments

• Users and drivers must top up their GV Ride credit wallet to access certain features (e.g., drivers must top up RM20 to begin accepting jobs)
• All fares and wallet transactions are in Ringgit Malaysia (MYR)
• Refunds are not guaranteed and are handled on a case-by-case basis

6. Driver Responsibilities

Drivers are expected to:

• Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle (under 15 years old)
• Hold valid road tax, insurance, and PSV certification
• Attend basic training and follow platform guidelines
• Treat passengers with respect and uphold safety at all times

7. Ratings & Feedback

• Both riders and drivers can rate each other after a trip
• GV Ride uses this rating system to monitor service quality
• Fraudulent reviews, harassment, or misuse of the system may result in suspension

8. Promo Code Usage

• Promo codes are limited-time offers and subject to availability
• GV Ride reserves the right to cancel or reject promo code use at its discretion
• Misuse (e.g. multiple fake accounts) may result in account termination

9. Limitation of Liability

GV Ride is a platform that connects passengers and drivers. We do not own vehicles or employ drivers directly. GV Ride is not liable for:

• Accidents or incidents during a ride
• Loss or theft of personal belongings
• Service interruptions or technical issues

However, we take your safety seriously and will act on all reports filed via our support channels.

10. Account Suspension or Termination

GV Ride reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that:

• Violates these Terms
• Is involved in fraud, harassment, or misconduct
• Poses a risk to the safety or trust of the community

11. Privacy Policy

By using GV Ride, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved under Malaysian jurisdiction.
